Oracle Financial Analyzer 6.4.0 - Datasheet

Oracle Financial Analyzer is the industries leading financial planning, modelling and budgeting application. OFA seamlessly links with the Oracle General Ledger (part of Oracle Financial Applications) simplifying data acquisition and maintenance, freeing system administrators to focus on other tasks, and helping businesses run their financial processes more efficiently.

Current Release - Oracle Financial Analyzer 11i, Release 6.4.0

Key Features

OFA 11i contains dramatic enhancements to the Web client, as well as introducing a number of performance improvements. Web improvements include:

Document Creation, Saving and Submit on the Web
Document formatting on the Web
Number formatting on the Web
Color coding/ Stoplight reports
Data Collection on the Web
Enhancements to the web document tree, including modify, search, delete, rename and move
Java Graph printing
Single sign-on for better integration with other Oracle Applications.
An Enhanced Webcall API, which allows custom links which can identify and
work with the selected cells on an open report.

Other improvements include:

Row Filtering by Attribute in Worksheets
Refresh Data capability for Analyst users
Improved Solve Performance - utilising of the new Express AGGREGATE command to significantly improve the performance of solves aggregating sparse data.
Oracle General Ledger Link loading of attribute relationship

New Features in OFA 6.4 include the following:

Row/Column level formatting on reports

Oracle Portal Integration

New Features in OFA 6.3 included:

The ability to save Copy Data profiles.
Analyst and Budget workstations can create documents and share them via their Administrator.
An Administrator can distribute Submit or Refresh Data Profiles to workstations.
A new Data Collection object that allows data input into multiple FDIs via the web.
Possible to write back data from the web.
Enhanced financial analysis over the web.
A new sparsity definition wizard to define Sparsity in Financial Data Items.
Custom menus can now be added through OFA front end.
New worksheet Hook properties to control the down and across status of a given dimension based on the value of another, related dimension.
